The Sixth Sense Soundtrack - James Newton Howard (1999)
This piece is a beautiful orchestral composition by James Newton Howard. It plays the main role in between the other scores written for the film and plays beautifully with building tension and then releasing tension.Â
Starting with piano and adding flutes then voice to it the piece is truly beautiful and almost dreamlike, then at 1:10 it changes dramatically and the dream is turning into a nightmare for the next 1:41 seconds, when there's yet again a change that makes the listener wonder what is to come? Where is it taking us? After it gets to the peak, as if to say the dark power has won, but the real catharsis is at the end, when it is all over, the suffering ends.
